It appears as though my theory from a few days ago is wrong. The weekend has come and still we were given a new moment without any new content from J.K. Rowling. In hindsight, it was a foolish theory, because J.K. Rowling is obviously going to release the content that she already has on the days where it ties in with the moment the best, not write new content that is timed perfectly with the weekend and higher traffic to the website.

That all being said, it’s no less disappointing to wake up early in the morning—Pottermore releases the new moments at 1:00 PM in the UK, which is 7:00 AM in Minnesota—and find no new articles or barely any new collectibles. In fact, I didn’t bother waking up early today (7:00 AM is my normal wake-up time on weekdays), but chose to sleep in instead. I’m glad that I did, because on the ninth day of Christmas, Pottermore gave to me a winged catapult and a fanged frisbee.
