In case you missed it, last Saturday Martin Freeman hosted Saturday Night Live, which brought about, among other great sketches, an epic mashup of his two best-known characters.

As the entire world knows by now, Martin Freeman played Bilbo Baggins in the three Hobbit movies (the last of which was just released in theaters in this past week). Fewer people (but still a significant number) know that Freeman made a name for himself in the original British version of The Office as Tim Canterbury. (The Jim Halpert character was modeled after Tim Canterbury when the show came to the United States.)
