Want to get into the Hallowe’en spirit? Wish you could see the Great Hall at Hogwarts decked out for the holiday? Well look no further than Pottermore at PlayStation Home!

If you have a PS3, you can access PlayStation Home for free. From the main screen, navigate to “PSN”, then PlayStation Home. You may have to download it first, but as I said, it’s free. You’ll have to bypass a “Message of the Day”, then on the next screen, navigate to “Featured Games”. “Pottermore Release 3” is at the top of the list right now. Select it, then select “Great Hall at Hallowe’en”. You’ll have to wait for this to download too, but once it does, you’re free to meander around the Great Hall, admiring the hundreds of pumpkins that litter the floors, tables, and ledges.

If you’re the type of person who likes to talk to people in a game, there were at least a dozen people hanging out in the Great Hall today—more than is usual. I prefer talking to people that I have already met in person or who have mutual friends that I have met in person, so I tend to avoid anyone to tries to approach me in a game.
